Employee Dies After Becoming Trapped in Equipment at Ararat Cement Factory

On December 1, at 11:26 AM, the Ararat regional crisis management center received information that an employee at the Ararat Cement factory, located at 5 Shahumyan Street in Ararat city, had become trapped between the rollers of a piece of machinery (used for transporting raw materials) and died. Rescue services were needed to retrieve the body.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that J. T. (born in 1956) had fallen into an elevator while performing work. Rescuers brought the body closer to an ambulance.
