Collision Between Lexus and Opel Leaves One Injured

Today, on December 1, a major traffic accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 10:15 AM, a Lexus and an Opel collided on the 26 km section of the Yerevan-Armagh road.

Photographer Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene that as a result of the accident, one person was transported to the Vagharsapat Medical Center with bodily injuries. Following the collision, the Opel veered off the road and ended up upside down in a field.

Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene, including the 1st platoon of the 1st company of the 2nd Battalion of the Traffic Police, led by platoon commander Grigor Poghosyan and company commander Marlen Sargsyan.

The senior investigator of the same platoon, Garik Hovhannisyan, is leading the on-site investigation, and materials are being prepared regarding the incident. The police are working to ascertain the identities of the drivers and the injured person.
