Emergency Situation: Partial Collapse of Concrete Bridge in Shirak Province

Today, on November 29, an emergency situation occurred in Shirak Province. According to reports from shamshyan.com, a section of the concrete bridge on the road from Pemzashen village to Lernakert village has collapsed.

Fortunately, there are no injuries, and traffic in the affected area has been limited to one lane. A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service, consisting of one combat team, has promptly arrived.

The rescuers are conducting operations at the beginning of the village, warning and advising drivers passing through the area to exercise caution.

Community leader M. Movsisyan has swiftly relayed the information to Shirak Province Governor Nazeli Baghdasaryan, who has instructed relevant officials from the province administration to arrive in the village to assess the situation and find solutions.

The bridge, which was built in the 1960s, is 10 meters long and 6 meters wide. If it is not repaired in a timely manner, there is a risk that another section may collapse at any moment, cutting the village off from the outside world.
