Aliyev and Erdogan Discuss the 'Zangezur Corridor' Again

The leaders of Turkey and Azerbaijan have once again discussed the so-called 'Zangezur Corridor' and the prospects for its implementation at an international platform.

“Today, I can say that the Zangezur Corridor is becoming a reality. This new transportation infrastructure will become an important part of the East-West and North-South corridors. I am confident that the member states of the organization will benefit from this corridor,” said Ilham Aliyev during the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, yesterday.

Aliyev also shared with partners the programs being implemented in the territories that came under Azerbaijan's control after the 44-day war and provided updates on the reconstruction efforts.
