Iran and Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministers Discuss Sochi Tripartite Meeting

The Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is accompanying President Ebrahim Raisi on a visit to Turkmenistan, met and held talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Ashgabat.
According to mehrnews.com, the two ministers discussed issues of mutual interest during their meeting. Amir-Abdollahian welcomed the tripartite meeting of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia in Sochi, considering it an important, effective, and constructive step towards overcoming the crisis in the region.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, for his part, emphasized the importance of implementing joint projects involving both countries and neighboring states.
