Over an Hour Blockage on the Upper Khotanan Section of the Kapan-Tatev Alternative Road

In Syunik, there has not yet been any snowfall, but the alternative Kapan-Tatev gravel road, which is supposed to replace the Goris-Kapan highway, is experiencing significant congestion. For over an hour now, there has been a kilometer-long traffic jam on the Kapan-Tatev alternative route passing through Upper Khotanan village, caused by trucks and vehicles with trailers.

The newspaper reported that this road is currently the only one connecting Kapan and its neighboring communities to Armenia after the Azerbaijanis set up a customs post on the Goris-Kapan road.
