Major Car Accident at the 'Oil Intersection': Injuries Reported
On November 26, at 15:26, the Emergency Management National Center received a report of a car burning at the 'Oil Intersection' on Shiraz Street in Yerevan. There are injuries reported.
A firefighting unit from the Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that vehicles involved in the collision included: an 'Opel Astra' (driver: K. P., born 1992), a 'Toyota Alphard' (driver: V. H.), a 'Lexus' (driver: G. S.), and a 'Mercedes-Benz E-Class' (driver: A. A.).
The rescuers disabled the electrical systems of the 'Opel Astra', 'Toyota Alphard', and 'Mercedes-Benz E-Class', closed the gas valve of the cars, and assisted the driver of the 'Opel Astra', K. P., to an ambulance. Both K. P. and passenger A. M. (born 1959) were hospitalized at 'Erebuni' Medical Center.
