Television host Suren Shahverdyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“More Restaurant-Concrete YEREVAN - Kirov Park. Don’t blame the past, they were bad and you have surpassed them in every way long ago. Construction permit 24.12.2020, post-war. Build trenches, positions, strongholds.”

The post was responded to by the press secretary of the Yerevan mayor, Hakob Karapetyan, who commented, “There was a construction permit in that area in 2017. After 2018, the construction permit was effectively canceled, but the developer has reaffirmed the construction permit through the court.”
