New Car Purchased for the Speaker of the National Assembly

The newspaper "Jhogovourd" reports that the fleet of vehicles of the National Assembly of Armenia has turned into a collection of abandoned cars. The vehicles are more often being repaired than serving their purpose. In light of this situation, the leadership of the National Assembly is taking steps to address the issue, starting with themselves. A new official vehicle will be acquired for the Speaker of the National Assembly.

According to information received by "Jhogovourd", the current vehicle serving the Speaker will be handed over to the State Property Management Committee. It has been reported that a 2011 model BMW 750 xDrive LCi will be procured for the Speaker, as keeping the old one has been deemed costly.

The purchase will be made from the showroom of official vehicles, and it is considered an urgent acquisition, with funds being secured from savings in the budget. However, when the other vehicles will be replaced remains unknown.
