Minister Discusses Cases of Poisoning at Food Establishments

Citizens fully vaccinated against coronavirus can receive a booster shot after 6 months. There is no mandate in place. This was stated by the Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, during a conversation with journalists in the government.

When asked if there would be restrictions for those who do not get re-vaccinated, Avanesyan noted that this matter has not yet been discussed.

Referring to the recent cases of poisoning reported at various food establishments, the minister stated that the center for disease control is conducting a thorough investigation within its responsibilities. "I believe that as a result of analyzing all cases, there may be a need for preventive visits and inspections to prevent such poisoning incidents," said Anahit Avanesyan.

She mentioned that water samples are regularly taken throughout the country, and currently, no deviations have been recorded.
