«He Was Talking to Me, Then He Says, ‘One Minute,’ and Clicks the Live Button»: Vanetsyan on Pashinyan
Commenting on the Prime Minister's 2019 statement that the previous administrations had destroyed documents in the National Security Service, former NSS Director and current MP Arthur Vanetsyan stated, "The NSS receives and processes numerous pieces of information on a daily basis, which are turned into reports. These materials, according to existing orders, have retention periods, after which they are destroyed, and there are also some that are kept indefinitely. What disappeared, which raised concerns, I reported myself, saying that there are documents that have been destroyed.
If you are talking to the NSS director, you shouldn't enter a live broadcast five minutes later and say something. He was talking to me, then he says, ‘One minute,’ turns around, clicks the button, and says, ‘Dear compatriots...’ Later, we explained and said, ‘Don’t do that live broadcast, it’s not allowed,’” Vanetsyan remarked regarding Pashinyan.
