Details About Tomorrow's Meeting in Sochi
The newspaper "Past" reports that on December 15, during the Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels, a meeting between Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev is also scheduled, initiated by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel. In anticipation of this meeting, it was recently announced that tomorrow, on November 26, a trilateral meeting between Putin, Pashinyan, and Aliyev will take place in Sochi, initiated by the President of the Russian Federation.
According to the "Past" newspaper, the November 26 meeting was not planned in advance, meaning that the Sochi meeting has entered the agenda "spontaneously" as a prelude to the December 15 meeting. Moreover, there are reports that in Sochi, the parties will come to a preliminary agreement on the formation of a relevant commission for demarcation and delimitation, which, by the way, Pashinyan actually confirmed during his press conference the day before.
The potential document to be signed will establish that Armenia and Azerbaijan will create a commission that will start addressing border delineation and delimitation issues,” he stated.
Our sources indicate that in recent days, Nikol Pashinyan has already drawn up a preliminary list of those who will be part of the commission, and the official names will be announced before December 15. In fact, according to expert circles, the Brussels meeting is expected to have a more "reporting" nature, as the main issues will already have been determined in Sochi.
