Armenia Can Benefit Significantly from Turmoil in Turkey, Says Iranologist

Iranologist Vardan Voskanyan writes: "Armenia can derive significant benefits from the turmoil occurring in Turkey while simultaneously weakening the position of the Erdoğan administration to the extent of its possibilities. One such step is to create an 'economic paradise' in Armenia for Iranian businessmen and Iranian capital, as it is evident that Iranian entrepreneurs, who have huge financial resources and numerous businesses in Turkey, are now facing significant challenges there. Therefore, they will seek alternatives in neighboring countries.

Armenia currently has the opportunity for such an alternative, both in terms of image and geography, but this alone is not enough for success, which naturally requires serious and well-planned work."
