The Remains of Vano Siradeghyan are in Armenia: When and Where Will the Memorial Service Take Place?
“Hraparak” reports: “We had written earlier that Vano Siradeghyan's remains are already in Armenia, despite his son, Khachaturo Siradeghyan, stating that he has no information on this matter.
According to sources, Siradeghyan's body has already been brought back, and the government commission for his funeral has convened and determined the protocol. We contacted Vahe Khachatryan, a member of the government commission and director of the Burial Bureau of the Special Population Services, to inquire where the writer's remains are and what the commission has decided.
In an interview with Hraparak.am, he stated that he has no information regarding the transportation of Siradeghyan's body, but he can inform us about the dates for the memorial and burial ceremonies: “The memorial service will be held on December 3, and the burial will take place on December 4,” he said.
Khachatryan also mentioned that Siradeghyan will be buried in his native village of Koti, while the memorial service will take place at the Opera House.”
