I Heard Pashinyan's Interview, To Put It Mildly, I Am Confused: Davit Sanasaryan
Former head of the State Oversight Service, Davit Sanasaryan, has commented on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's interview, expressing his confusion.
“I listened to Nikol Pashinyan's interview. To put it mildly, I am confused. This government is not only failing in many areas, but it is also steering the country off the wrong tracks. There is much to say, but one issue at a time. In response to the important question posed by the Summit regarding why fortification works on the outposts have not been carried out properly after the war, Pashinyan said that the generals were occupied with politics, and that is one reason (in brief).
Well, how can such a superficial answer be given? Mr. Prime Minister, when you talk about prisoners, you say we need to clarify the circumstances under which they became captives. Now, how many generals or other officials have been held accountable for not addressing the outpost issues and failing to fulfill their responsibilities?
Finally, you are the leader of the country. Could you perhaps put in a little more effort and speak from a position of responsibility? What does it mean to find excuses for the poor condition of the positions and inadequacies in fortification works? This is not an urban planning issue that has time to correct mistakes. After all, you have previously uttered that disgraceful phrase (the system resists) and the fire broke out. How can one not learn from their own mistakes? Who are these officials that are playing games with the soldiers' and the country's security?”
