VIDEO. Leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan need to meet more frequently to avoid crises: Pashinyan

The Republic of Armenia is ready to hold meetings at high levels in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. We have expressed our willingness regarding all meetings.

This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press conference organized for the media and civil society. The meeting on December 15 is not a new development, as EU President Charles Michel had proposed the idea during his summer visit to the region, mentioning that a summit of the Eastern Partnership would take place. He suggested organizing a meeting between me and the President of Azerbaijan. I did not reject this idea,” said Pashinyan.

According to him, communications between the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides should occur more often in order to “regulate situations, find solutions, and try to avoid crises.”
