Mercedes Crashes into Traffic Sign and Tree due to Icy Roads in Martuni; Injured is a Doctor

On November 21, a serious car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region due to icy roads. Around 11:45 PM, Sanasar Melikonyan, a 35-year-old resident of Gegharkunik, lost control of his Mercedes vehicle on Yerevanyan Street in the city of Martuni. The car veered off the road, collided with a traffic sign, and subsequently crashed into a tree.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, a 26-year-old passenger from Gegharkunik, identified as H.H., was taken to the Martuni medical center with bodily injuries.

Photojournalists report that the cause of the accident was the icy condition of the road, and after the collision with the sign and tree, the driver, who is a doctor at the Martuni medical center, ended up on the sidewalk.
