What kind of document is this?” said political scientist Vazgen Petrosyan today during a rally of the Liberation Movement, which he has also joined.

“If this is about border delimitation and demarcation, what is the basis? The Republic of Azerbaijan acknowledges that it is moving with the maps of 1918. At that time, neither Nakhchivan nor Artsakh was part of Azerbaijan’s territory. When the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia gives Azerbaijani names to Armenian villages and orders the retreat of our troops, we suffer losses. This is about the fact that the country's borders are in danger, the economy is not functioning, and the political leadership is not in place,” emphasized Petrosyan.

The political scientist voiced the demands of citizens who want to live normally: “We want to have a normal country where both people's security and border security are ensured, and the economy also operates. Should the Turk come again at midnight and decapitate our soldier with a hatchet like Gurgen Margaryan in the center of Europe? Is that what you want? Have you not yet understood who the Turk is? Those who say you are inciting panic, have there been issues on the Goris-Kapan, Sisian-Yerevan roads? What do they know, just from the four walls of their rooms? Let them not speak; it is the duty of the deputy to get acquainted with the people’s problems, not to prattle,” he stated.
