Second Fabricated Charges Against Serzh Sargsyan Divert Attention from the Government's Betrayal, Artak Zakaryan

Former Deputy Minister of Defense Artak Zakaryan's statement.

"Capitulator Nikol continues his treacherous campaign to undermine the Republic of Armenia from within. With a demonstrative 'parade' of fabricated criminal cases, false accusations, and slanders against former authorities, particularly presidents, he has destroyed the unity of society and demoralized the army. As a result, he surrendered Artsakh, ravaged the Armenian defense system, deprived Armenia of all its border security zones, gifted the borders of Syunik to the enemy, and turned settlements into targets for the enemy.

By filing a second fabricated charge against Serzh Sargsyan, the capitulator is diverting society's attention from his next treacherous decision to hand over several other territories to the Turks. If you remember, in his speech at the conference of the Republican Party of Armenia in Tsaghkadzor on October 1 of this year, the third President of Armenia Sargsyan responded to Aliyev's rhetoric, stating... 'Why didn't you call for the village of Mataghis in the Martakert region of the Republic of Artsakh 3 or 10 years ago? Why weren’t you crowing like that when you were complaining about being pressured behind closed doors to recognize the independence of Artsakh? It is not surprising that after everything that has happened in the last three years, he has taken on the role of the capitulator's lawyer, protecting him and together targeting me and my combat companions, most of whom are heroes of Artsakh.'

Essentially, the targeting of Serzh Sargsyan continues, and it is very likely that Nikol is fulfilling Aliyev's next desire. Long live the Armenian investigators, prosecutors, judges, and other bodies belonging to Nikol who do not understand what they are really doing. They are helping Nikol surrender the home country of their own fathers and grandfathers. And do our 'heroes' in the Armenian legal system know what they will answer their children and grandchildren when they ask why they acted against the heroes of Artsakh with fabricated cases?"
