Azerbaijanis Are Concentrating Troops in Our Territories and Border Areas: Abovyan

Azerbaijanis are concentrating troops both in our territories, which they have occupied, and in border areas. This was stated by former BHK MP Arman Abovyan on his Facebook page.

“The situation is increasingly escalating. Azerbaijanis are gathering troops in our territories that they have occupied as well as in border areas. There are already obvious signs that the military situation may sharply worsen. For example, the U.S. State Department (through the U.S. Embassy in Armenia) is warning its citizens to refrain from visiting certain areas of Syunik. Let’s remember that before the 44-day war, the Americans issued similar warnings. What are the authorities of Armenia doing? Of course, nothing, aside from some strange and suspicious movements.

In this context, I have three questions. What agenda will Aliyev and Pashinyan discuss in Brussels? Why is the meeting specifically in Brussels, given that for a month now, there have been talks that the meeting should take place in a trilateral format involving Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan? And most importantly... is there any plan to sign a document? I am being very correct at the moment—impeccably correct,” he wrote.
