6 Days Since 13 Soldiers Were Captured: What Information Does the Armenian Red Cross Have?

It has been 6 days since the official reports indicated the capture of 13 soldiers due to Azerbaijani aggression on the eastern borders of Armenia on November 16. However, no visible steps are being taken towards their return. Even representatives of the Red Cross have not yet met with the prisoners in Baku.

“At this moment, there is no news, I cannot confirm anything, we are waiting,” said Zara Amatuni, the press officer of the Armenian Red Cross, in a statement to ‘Faktinfo,’ adding that dialogues are ongoing with the authorities.

The Red Cross is in contact with the relevant authorities and is monitoring the situation. Mainly, there is a confidential dialogue with the relevant authorities to clarify the situation and act accordingly within their mandate.
