38 Days Since Vano Siradeghyan's Death, Yet He Has Not Been Buried: Statement from His Daughter

Arpi Siradeghyan, the daughter of prominent Armenian statesman and politician Vano Siradeghyan, took to her Facebook page to express her outrage, stating: "Shame on you, so-called intellectuals. Today marks the 38th day since the passing of a great intellectual and political figure of the Armenian people, Vano Siradeghyan, yet he is still not buried. What are you thinking, how do you live without raising your voice? A colleague, a friend, a brother among you remains unburied even forty days after his death. With satanic indifference, you are watching the disgrace of this exiled body (as Davit said). This is also your test, your identity, your face. This reflects your stance on all vital issues, and it is one of the reasons for the calamities that have befallen the country. You resemble jackals who devour their unburied companion. Shame on you."
