U.S. Congresswoman: 'I Stand with the Armenian People, Azerbaijan Must Recognize and Respect Armenia's Sovereignty'

U.S. Congress Representative Katherine Clark has urged Azerbaijan to respect Armenia's sovereignty. “I stand with the Armenian people, who have once again faced an unprovoked attack. Azerbaijan must recognize and respect Armenia's sovereignty. I condemn this latest act of aggression and urge the government of Azerbaijan to adhere to last year's peace agreement,” Clark wrote on her Twitter account.

It is recalled that on November 16, Azerbaijani armed forces initiated yet another provocation along the eastern border of Armenia. The adversary utilized artillery, armored vehicles, and small arms of various calibers.

As a result of the ongoing fighting, the Armenian side currently reports 6 fatalities.
