Biden Will Be Under Anesthesia, Powers Will Be Transferred to Vice President

US President Joe Biden will undergo a colonoscopy on Friday, and during his time under anesthesia, he will temporarily transfer presidential powers to Vice President Kamala Harris.

According to USA Today, the president is set to go to Walter Reed Medical Center for the routine procedure. While he is there, he will undergo a planned colonoscopy.

In accordance with the procedures established by the US Constitution, President Biden will briefly transfer authority to the Vice President while he is under anesthesia.
