This Map of the Turkic World is a True Gift to Armenian Diplomacy: Armen Petrosyan

The recent display of the Turkic world's map by Turkey's ruling coalition leaders Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli is a genuine gift to Armenian diplomacy, particularly in the effort to form external consensus against the Turkish-Azerbaijani project dubbed the 'Zangezur Corridor'. This was stated by Arabist Armen Petrosyan on his Facebook page.

He specifically noted: 'The aforementioned map, considered a pinnacle of panturlist ideology, clearly outlines all the countries and directions in which Ankara has pursued a targeted policy for years, and is expected to implement even more actively in the future as part of the project to realize the 'Great Turan' or 'Turkic Axis' under the current world order. The map includes regions from the Balkan Peninsula, Russia, Iran, China, Mongolia, and parts of Syria and Iraq, encompassing Turkic-speaking countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan).

And most importantly, the key to this project lies today in Armenia's Syunik province – the presumed 'Zangezur Corridor', which is intended to ensure uninterrupted connectivity among all parts of the project.

Armenia's diplomats, our compatriots engaging in lobbying in the diaspora, and partners merely need to have the attached photo and the map of Armenia on their smartphones and to effectively clarify in their professional communications and public appearances that the weakened Armenia post-war cannot alone halt the forward-looking Turkish agenda, which already poses a visible threat to all the countries marked on the map, both simultaneously and consecutively, with examples from Artsakh and the potential annexation of the 'Zangezur Corridor'.
