Demand for Arming the Population of Syunik: Protest Near Ministry of Defense

A protest has begun near the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. According to ‘Hraparak’, representatives of the ‘National Democratic Axis’ are there, demanding the arming of the population in Syunik due to the current situation.

“Enemy troops are continuing to accumulate along the border, yet the government is taking no appropriate action, not even arming the residents of Syunik and border areas. We demand that they arm and organize the residents of Syunik and border areas,” states the message released by the Axis.
