Arzvik Minasyan to Pashinyan: 'You don't say, Aliyev, investigate the prisoners and then send them to me'

During a press briefing in the National Assembly, Arzvik Minasyan, a member of the "Hayastan" faction, commented on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements regarding the need for an investigation into the matters of prisoners of war.

“Our citizens are captives, and your first task is to bring these citizens back home. What does it mean to say we need to conduct an investigation? You don’t say, Aliyev, investigate the situation and then send them to me. Are you justifying the fact that Azerbaijani courts have imposed penalties on our citizens? Or are you declaring from the outset that we will not pursue our citizens? This is a question that should not give any official, especially a government representative, the right to make such public statements from the podium of the National Assembly,” he said.
