Arthur Hovhannisyan Accuses Armenian Mass Media of Spreading False Information

This was stated by Arthur Hovhannisyan, a member of the ruling 'Civil Contract' faction, during a traditional press briefing in the National Assembly on November 19, in response to a question regarding the information provided by the authorities amid the latest escalation on the front line.

In the opinion of the politician, the culprits of misinformation this time again are the Armenian media. 'Naturally, under conditions of tension, the volumes of disinformation increase. Unfortunately, Azerbaijani disinformation is accompanied by disinformation from Armenian media. It is mainly commissioned by certain political groups,' said the MP, effectively avoiding a direct answer to the specific question.
