Yes, There is Investment Activity and Interest in Syunik: Kerobyan

Yes, there is investment activity in Syunik. A program will be presented at the next government meeting regarding investments by a significant group of Iranian companies in the Meghri Free Economic Zone. This was stated today, on November 18, after the government meeting during a briefing with journalists by Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan.

"As soon as it is confirmed, it will start being implemented. In addition, there are many other topics, including tourism. We have a good project in Meghri that we are working on together with the Izmirlian Foundation," the minister said.

In response to a question about whether other investors, aside from Iranians, are interested in Syunik, the minister replied, "We also have numerous Armenian investors."
