Taron's Body Now Transferred to His Native Voskavan Village, He Sustained Two Fragment Wounds, Reporter Reports
Reporter Voskang Sargsyan's post: “Taron Sahakyan was not tortured; he is my godson, a fellow villager, and the son-in-law of my brother. I was his godfather when he left for Jerusalem to study in a spiritual school. At my home, in a place of honor, are the candles Taron brought from Jerusalem as a gift. After that, Taron worked in the police force and later became a military officer. The body of 31-year-old Senior Lieutenant Taron Sahakyan is now being transferred to his native Voskavan village. Taron's father, Major Jivan Sahakyan, a participant in the battles of the 1990s, just informed me that Taron's body has not been tortured; he has two fragment wounds on his body. Colonel Zeinalyan has informed Jivan Sahakyan that Taron stood out for his bravery. The circumstances of Taron Sahakyan's death remain unclear.
