Ararat Mirzoyan Held a Phone Conversation with the Secretary General of CSTO
On November 18, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, held a phone conversation with the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Stanislav Zas.
Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that Azerbaijan has launched yet another act of aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia. He added that since the signing of the trilateral statement on November 9, Azerbaijan's military-political leadership has been undermining security and stability in the region with its provocative actions and hindering Armenia's efforts aimed at de-escalation of the situation.
The interlocutors discussed necessary steps within the framework of CSTO mechanisms and tools to stabilize the situation along Armenia's eastern border, if needed, in accordance with established procedures.
