We Have Retrieved Positions: Armen Khachatryan

During the recent active military operations along Armenia’s eastern borders, the Armed Forces have regained combat positions. This was stated by Armen Khachatryan, a member of the ‘Civil Contract’ faction, during a press briefing with journalists.

“At this moment, there is a ceasefire. There are positions that we have retrieved,” Khachatryan said.

The MP deemed it inappropriate to disclose specifics regarding the locations of the retrieved positions and the situation in those areas.

In response to a question about whether the Armenian side has appealed to the CSTO, Khachatryan answered that he could not confirm whether a written appeal had been made, but acknowledged that contact had been made.

Khachatryan emphasized once more that there will be no corridor, and no one can resolve this issue through force.
