Video: Azerbaijani Forces Advanced 50 km Before Attack, Claims Wargonzo
Azerbaijani forces advanced 50 km on foot before the attack, according to reports from the front lines by Wargonzo. The channel asserts that yesterday's escalation was not a random exchange of fire but evolved into a large-scale military operation.
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces were well-prepared for this assault, having conducted a ‘march-brasok’ over a length of at least 50 km deep in the territories they control in the Karvachar region. They have moved forward with both equipment and personnel.
"This means it was not a spontaneous attack, and there was indeed the opportunity to monitor their movements, as our military sources claim," Wargonzo reported.
The Wargonzo team reached Jermuk to assess the situation there, as combat operations unfolded about 10-15 km away from the globally renowned resort town. According to their report, the situation in the town remains calm; moreover, everything was tranquil on November 16 as well, despite the tension at the positions.
Wargonzo's author noted that volunteers have ascended to the positions to assist soldiers, but command has indicated that there is no need for their help yet, and service continues to be conducted by conscripted soldiers.
