The NSS Officers' Union Calls for Emergency Government Formation

The NSS Officers' Union has issued a statement calling for the immediate establishment of a Crisis Government or a State Defense Committee. The statement reads:

“Analyzing the current situation, we can confirm that due to incompetent foreign and domestic policies, Artsakh is on the brink of disaster. We can certainly state that if this continues, in 2-3 years, the population of Artsakh will emigrate, similar to the example of Nakhchivan.

2. The very essence of Armenia is under threat. Today, we are losing parts of Armenia, battles are ongoing within the country.

3. The Armenian diaspora and the Armenian people in general have been humiliated, losing their influence, while national dignity and values have been eradicated.

4. The Church has been discredited, removed from the people and the resolution of the disastrous issues facing the country, while the LGBT community and cult movements have been encouraged.

5. Inside the country, the populace has been divided, misled by false agendas, resulting in enmity among citizens.

6. Democratic values have been eradicated, the judiciary, the prosecutor's office, and law enforcement agencies have been usurped. Deviating from their legal functions, they have been used for the interests of the ruling team, ensuring victory at all costs in nationwide and local elections, without hesitation utilizing administrative resources and illegal means.

7. The army has been dismantled with criminal prosecutions, incompetent personnel appointments, and overall ineffective governance.

8. The ruling Soros-affiliated team and related officials have failed the allied relations with strategic partners Russia and Iran, ready to change the political course to the West at the first opportunity.

It is evident that such severity of damage to Armenia and the Armenian world has not been inflicted until now by foreign intelligence agency networks that have come to light. A grave situation has arisen. Continuous failures indicate that the current government is powerless to change the situation; it lacks the necessary personnel resources, international credibility, and does not enjoy the former support of the people. A defeated and humiliated Prime Minister, along with a President disconnected from the country’s issues, cannot effectively negotiate or protect national interests.

In this situation, it is vital to urgently form a crisis government or a State Defense Committee, empowered with broad authority, similar to the former example of Artsakh, allowing for the mobilization of the nation’s entire potential within Armenia and the Diaspora.”
