Russia Registers Record Number of Deaths

In Russia, the confirmed cases of coronavirus infection have increased by 36,626 in a single day, reaching a total of 9,182,538, as reported to journalists by the federal operational headquarters for combating the infection. This was reported by TASS.

The number of death cases has also risen by 1,247 daily, compared to 1,240 the previous day, totaling 259,084. The absolute increase marks the highest since the onset of the pandemic, with the previous maximum of 1,241 deaths recorded on November 13.
