We Have Given Tasks to the Local Defense and Volunteer Units in the Villages: Governor of Syunik

At the moment, we are waiting for number one. We have given tasks to those who need to be ready. They are prepared for waiting. This was stated by the Governor of Syunik, Melikset Poghosyan, in an interview with Aysor.am.

"We have tasked the local defense units in the villages to be ready for any situation," he noted. When asked if volunteer units are currently being formed in the villages of Syunik, the governor responded affirmatively.

"The situation in Syunik is normal at this time. We have instructed the local defense and volunteer units to be prepared. Our area is stable; I do not know what is happening on the left wing. The situation near Goris is normal. The first part is normal; that is the area of the 2nd Corps. The tension is in the northern section," said Melikset Poghosyan, adding that he cannot specify exact place names and areas, and that clarifications need to be obtained from the Ministry of Defense.

When asked about the information he has regarding the Ishkhanasar area, Melikset Poghosyan replied, "We have no communication; we cannot clarify anything."
