The Question of Resigning Mandates Has Not Left Our Agenda: Artsvik Minasyan

“Nothing is holding us back from resigning our mandates. This was stated today, November 16, at a press conference by the Secretary of the ARF 'Armenia' faction, Artsvik Minasyan.

“We have said that we will utilize our mandates in all possible ways, including exposing the illegality of this government and its treasonous actions. We will carry out all actions that the mandate enables. Yes, the question of resigning mandates has not left our agenda. But that will occur when we see that it will help us achieve our ultimate goal: to change the capitulated government, restore national governance in the country, and establish constitutional order,” said Minasyan.

Minasyan assured that the 29 deputies of the 'Armenia' faction, three of whom are, according to him, illegally detained, are not constrained by any mandate or status. “We will soon make another statement about which I would prefer not to disclose, as we are awaiting another action,” Minasyan announced.

Commenting on the cancellation of the National Assembly Council meeting, the opposition faction leader stated: “What the leadership of the National Assembly did yesterday is clearly illegal, further exposing this government’s unlawful, unconstitutional, anti-national, and anti-state activities.”

It is noteworthy that the 'Armenia' and 'Honorary Duty' factions have boycotted the work of the National Assembly's regular sessions.
