Suicide in Ararat Region: 37-Year-Old Man Found Hanging in Barn, Note Discovered in Pocket
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, materials are being prepared by investigator Sagsyan of the Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia regarding a suicide that occurred on November 15 in the Ararat region.
As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, around 05:15 AM on that day, a call was received at the Ararat police department indicating that the body of a man was found hanging from the roof of a barn in one of the serviced villages in the area.
An operational group from the Ararat police department arrived at the scene, led by detective Sargsyan of the criminal investigation division. According to preliminary findings by the forensic expert, no signs of violence were found on the body.
Police and investigators have determined that the deceased was 37-year-old Edgar G. from the mentioned village. According to G. Shamshyan’s information, a note was found in his pocket that read: "I am going to heaven, do not blame anyone."
