President Has Held a Phone Conversation with Nikol Pashinyan

In connection with the border situation created due to Azerbaijani military aggression, President Armen Sarkissian has had a phone conversation with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The situation resulting from the aggressive actions of the Azerbaijani side was discussed. The Prime Minister provided information about the violations of Armenia's borders and territorial integrity by the Azerbaijani armed forces and outlined the actions being taken by the Armenian military.

The Office of the President is also in constant contact with the heads of relevant authorities.

Considering President Armen Sarkissian's previously planned participation in The Bloomberg New Economy international conference in Singapore, it has been deemed appropriate for the President to use this influential international platform to present the alarming situation at Armenia's borders within the framework of the conference. He will address the violations of Armenia's borders and territorial integrity by the Azerbaijani armed forces, as well as the issue of the return of Armenian prisoners of war illegally held in Azerbaijan. The conference will be attended by global leaders, as well as heads of international organizations and corporations, and leading media outlets.
