Pashinyan Blames Everyone: "Fact"
The newspaper "Fact" reports: "Yesterday, Minister of Defense Arshak Karapetyan was relieved from his position. He served for just over three months. Throughout the day, various theories were circulating regarding Karapetyan's dismissal, including visits to Artsakh, his refusal to issue a retreat order, and the new series of the government's anti-Russian agenda, among others.
According to a presidential decree, Vice Prime Minister Suren Papikyan was appointed as Minister of Defense.
As reported by a government source from the "Fact" newspaper, there is much more to come regarding this issue, and these changes will not be the end of it. Our sources indicate that just the day before, Nikol Pashinyan blamed everyone, including the heads of law enforcement agencies, instructing them to significantly strengthen oversight of the state apparatus to prevent unnecessary "mistakes."
According to the information we have, radical changes are expected in both the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff in the coming days. Changes are also not ruled out in other state structures.
Our government sources say that the reasons behind Pashinyan's behavior are manifold and do not only relate to the events at the border that occurred the day before. Specifically, among other reasons, there is the factor of designating "scapegoats" in the current situation and making an effort to distance himself from any accountability, as well as considering forming a non-confrontational, compliant "setup" should written and verbal agreements be reached in the near future."
