Azerbaijani Armed Forces Deepen Their Incursion into Armenian Territory: Vahe Hakobyan
Every day our country faces challenges, and each day we make new concessions. This was stated today, November 16, during a press conference in the National Assembly by Vahe Hakobyan, a member of the "Armenia" parliamentary faction.
According to Hakobyan, the alternative road project that connects Goris with Tatev and Kapan has been implemented with mistakes, leading to traffic jams, even though there is no snow, ice on the roads, or fog yet. "By losing the Kapan-Jakaten road, 600 residents from four villages—Srashen, Jakaten, Shikahogh, and Verin Hand—are left in a very difficult situation. Those villages are part of the enlarged Kapan community. If they previously had to cover 10 km to reach Kapan, now they have to detour 150 km via Meghri and Kajaran to get there," the opposition lawmaker said.
He then posed a question regarding government actions under these circumstances: "Instead of addressing security issues, the government is staging performances by firing and appointing ministers. Why was the Minister of Defense removed? Was he not making adequate resistance, or was it the opposite? Why is the public not informed about this? What connection does Suren Papikyan have with the Ministry of Defense? Setting all this aside, Pashinyan continues his petty vendetta by imprisoning our colleagues," Hakobyan responded to his own query.
