What Now: Is There a ‘Peace Era’ in Jakhaten or Has the ‘Future’ Finally Arrived?

Former MP Arman Abovyan writes: “What now, has a ‘peace era’ begun in Jakhaten, or has the long-anticipated ‘Future’ finally arrived? Thus, events are developing according to the logic that ordinary Armenians have been enduring for a year now, but unfortunately, there are neither listeners nor comprehenders.

Azerbaijani forces are simultaneously starting provocations in several directions, attempting to advance, and ultimately legitimizing the process of the occupation of the Republic of Armenia’s sovereign territories. This creeping occupation policy, employed by the Azerbaijanis, is highly effective, as it clearly aligns with the strategy of the Armenian authorities, who are cowardly pursuing an Azerbaijan-friendly ‘peace era,’ which simply does not envisage an active and selfless struggle for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.

Yes, it is the Armenian authorities who are primarily responsible for every day that parts of our Homeland fall under enemy control. What now, did you see that the Turkish-Azerbaijani barbaric murderers will not stop, even though I know that you are guided by that philosophy of ‘let's hand over part of the Goris-Kapan highway and the Turk will stop, after all, they are not savages?’ What has made the Turk stop now, or are they demanding even more?

Do you think the process in Jakhaten is over? Do you at least have basic evaluations and analyses of the developing situation? In the end, when you hand over what little you have to the Turk, will you again blame everyone around, asking for ‘forgiveness’ from the ‘citizens thrown to the ground’ by the Turk’s foot? The Turkish-Azerbaijani terrorist forces will voluntarily not stop, as their ultimate goal is to achieve a complete union between Azerbaijan and Turkey on land, meaning having a common border.

If anyone dares to reject these realities, just look at the map and the directions where the Azerbaijanis are attempting to advance.
