Three Sons of Slain Former MP Arrested

On November 11, gunshots were heard in one of the houses in Kanaker, resulting in the death of four individuals, while three others were hospitalized with varying degrees of bodily injuries. Among the deceased was the criminal authority known as 'Kanaker Tui,' Arthur Ghazaryan, and the former MP, 61-year-old Artush Simonian.

The injured included the son of the deceased former MP, Vladimir Simonian. Notably, the gunfire occurred right at the former MP's residence.

It should be highlighted that Artush Simonian was elected as an MP in 2003 from the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district through a majoritarian vote. Consequently, a request for the arrest of the three sons of the slain MP was submitted to the court, which was granted by the court on Sunday.
