Russian and Turkish Deputy Foreign Ministers Discuss Launch of '3+3' Format
On November 15 in Istanbul, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko held consultations with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal. According to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to Russian-Turkish cooperation in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
In the context of normalizing relations between Baku and Yerevan, the consistent implementation of trilateral agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, was emphasized. The relevance of launching the regional advisory mechanism '3+3' for the South Caucasus was highlighted, which includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia, along with Russia, Turkey, and Iran.
