Pashinyan's Former Ally Makes Strong Statement

A year after resigning his mandate and submitting a letter to leave the Civil Contract Party, Mesrop Papikyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“It is as a result of your political decisions or the absence of decisions that the soldiers are demoralized. Everything is heading toward chaos due to your hasty, shortsighted, emotional, and superficial politics. Chaos is a good tool to initiate a revolution, but you cannot govern a state with chaos. There has always been chaos around you; look back and you will see – chaos in the Ministry of Defense, chaos in the National Security Service, chaos in the Special Investigative Service, chaos in the National Assembly, chaos in the ministries, chaos in the councils, chaos within the party, chaos in the domestic political arena, and chaos in your lifestyle. You spread chaos, rather than govern. No matter how many ministers you change, nothing will change; the ministers you appoint are your copies, your lighter versions. You cannot create value; you can only give birth to and disseminate chaos.
