Minors Transferred from Russia to Armenia: Police
Recently, a resident of Moscow approached the Embassy of Armenia in Russia, informing them that after the death of her brother and his wife, their children are under her care. In order to assume guardianship over the minors, it is necessary for the children to be located in Armenia. However, they do not possess the required documents to return to Armenia.
This information was promptly addressed by the Armenian police. In collaboration with representatives from the Embassy of Armenia in Russia, the necessary paperwork to transfer the minors to Armenia was secured.
On November 11, in accordance with the agreement among member states of the CIS to return minors to their countries of permanent residence, officers from the Department of Juvenile Crime Prevention and Domestic Violence Prevention of the police transferred the minors from Russia to Armenia and handed them over to representatives of the Guardianship and Supervision Authority of Spitak Municipality.
