Hokhikyan Publishes Map: 'If You Execute This Unpatriotic Order, You are Devoid of a Soldier's Honor'

Today, I made a statement regarding the impending issues from the Nakhchivan region. Political analyst Nairy Hokhikyan made a similar post on his Facebook page.

“Allow me to elaborate. The residents of Areni, Yelpin, Chiva, and surrounding areas in the Vayots Dzor province know well that facing them towards Nakhchivan there is a height called Kyzylkaya, which was entirely under Armenian control until 2018. After 2018, part of this height is monitored by the Armenian army, which allows the enemy to target the aforementioned settlements in the Vayots Dzor province and the interstate road leading to Yeghegnadzor,” he wrote.

“Adjacent to the Kyzylkaya height is the reservoir built on the Arpa River, part of which was also monitored by us until recently. Now it is completely under enemy control.”

“Now the authorities of the Republic of Armenia have instructed to withdraw the troops from that area and place them into the section delineated on Google Maps. In other words, to allow the enemy to observe Areni, Chiva, Yelpin, and other nearby settlements, as well as the interstate road,” he added. “Soldiers, if you carry out this unpatriotic order and put the Armenian settlements in danger, then you are devoid of a soldier's honor. Stand firm for your homeland and your dignity,” he concluded.
