Have Positions Been Given Up Without a Shot? Azerbaijanis Release Videos While Armenia's Military-Political Leadership Remains Silent

Azerbaijani media outlets have been circulating various videos since yesterday, claiming that the Armenian side has abandoned the positions depicted in the footage, handing them over to the Azerbaijanis. In an effort to prevent the dissemination of propaganda and false information, Auroranews will not publish the videos in its possession. However, it should be noted that the authenticity of these videos and the information being circulated about them should be verified, and it cannot be ruled out that they correspond to reality, indicating that the Armenian side has once again suffered positional losses without firing a shot.

We attempted to verify the information regarding the aforementioned videos by reaching out to the Ministry of Defense, but we have not been able to establish contact with representatives of the agency.

Notably, just before the release of these videos, the Ministry of Defense issued a statement saying, “As of 19:00, the situation on the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, where Azerbaijani military units attempted to secure positional advances today, has relatively stabilized, with no shots being fired. Negotiations are underway to resolve the situation. There are no casualties on the Armenian side. Furthermore, we emphasize that claims circulating on social media regarding the entrance of Azerbaijani military equipment into Armenian territory in that border area do not correspond to reality.”

It appears that the Ministry of Defense is once again not addressing the information being circulated about territorial and positional losses and only mentions that Azerbaijani military equipment has not entered Armenian territory.
