Extraordinary Incident in Yerevan: Hand Grenade Found Near Central Bus Station

A remarkable incident took place in Yerevan today, November 15. Around 15:15, the operational management of the RA Police and the 911 crisis management center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting the presence of a hand grenade at a bus stop adjacent to the central bus station on Isakov Avenue.

An emergency medical team from Yerevan, 1-03 ambulance service, promptly arrived at the scene. The rescue personnel from the Ministry of Emergency Situations managed to defuse the grenade and are currently transporting it to a safe location. An operational group from the central division of the police also arrived at the scene.
