Azerbaijan Prevents Resumption of Remains Search Efforts; Negotiations Ongoing

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Artsakh is conducting negotiations regarding the resumption of searches for the remains of those killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh war and missing servicemen, as reported by the ministry's Facebook page.

“Search efforts for the remains of servicemen who are considered killed or missing have not been conducted by operational groups of the rapid response special unit over the past week. The ministry is negotiating with all concerned entities regarding the resumption of work,” the statement read.

On November 13, the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced that search operations for remains had been halted since October 18 of this year.
